- Tough synthetic cordage is highly resistant to abrasion, ultra-violet degradation, rot and mildew. Central tube suspension with smoothly polished tube ends prevent cord abrasion typical of other, less labor-intensive suspension techniques.
- Heavy gauge polished stainless steel rings provide sturdy support and enduring beauty.
- Tempered aluminum alloy tubing is custom manufactured to exacting specifications and will never rust.
- Corrosion-protective finish preserves chime's appearance and increases durability in hostile environments (acid rain, salt air).
- Each tube is cut and precisely tuned by hand using just intonation, except for the whole tone scale, which uses equal temperament.

How to Choose a Wind Chime:
When selecting a chime, choose the size you want and then choose a scale (tuning) that sings most sweetly to you. The ten musical scales plus Westminster are divisible into two main categories of music which are simply called the "more familiar" and the "more exotic" sound.

The "familiar" major scales are quite similar one to the other, while the exotic scales are only somewhat similar to one another. Listen and watch for a tuning that seems to make you feel at ease and relaxed.
SUGGESTED CHIME ENSEMBLES
The same musical scale, or tuning, in different pitch ranges harmonize wonderfully, creating a magical "singing in parts" effect. You can never
go wrong adding to your collection with another voice in the same scale. There are also combinations of scales which sound particularly harmonious. In these you
can mix any size and still make a great decision. These combinations are:
