 Olive Barn® is a eco-friendly garden gift store created by Olive Barn Inc. founder, Jacqueline D'Elia in 2000. The inspiration came when looking for a way to combine her expertise in ecommerce with her love of gardening. A graduate of Texas A&M, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture. She is the author of the Olive Barn blog as well as her own personal garden blog, Southern Post. You can also find her blogging about her vegetable garden on her Houston Chronicle's blog, Boxed Dirt.
Our warehouse is filled with eco-friendly and green products from all over the world. Our shipping department uses sustainable packaging whenever possible. We only purchase packing materials that are biodegradable and reuse other materials sent to us from our suppliers. Simply put, we love gardening and shopping. We also love our planet and realize that we need to make better choices. 
Our mission is to bring sustainable living into our everyday lives. From the gifts we buy, to the garden we keep, to the home we love, the choices we make everyday matter. Where products come from, how they are made and most importantly, what happens to them when we no longer need them is a consideration we take seriously.
