| | Recycled Glass Bottle Artistan JewelryArtist Laura Bergman reclaims broken antique glass and bottles in the Pennsylvania Amish Country and hand crafts them into amazing pendants and earrings. She discovered old dumping sites throughout the wooded habitat and rural farmland. These sites were simply how items were disposed of back then, and are now a treasure trove for collectors. Most collectors only take the whole pretty unbroken vintage bottles, leaving broken pieces remaining there for the environment and the wildlife to deal with. She witnessed baby deer laying in the broken pieces, squirrels and foxes running over it, birds landing on the pieces while looking for food. Making an effort to do something about this while still preserving the history of the glass, she found a way to create beautiful jewelry from reclaimed broken pieces of antique glass. Rare finds include old Clorox and Noxema bottles, depression era glass and soda bottles. Each piece of jewelry is unique and no two are exactly alike. The New Eco Fashion!
